My portfolio is by request only right now. That said, I’m always into the idea of a conversation, so reach out and let’s get together.
The Green Giant, smoking a corn-cob pipe, is indeed a little cannibalistic. Don't you think?
"A lot of times when bees rob a hive the first thing they do is kill the queen."
I couple of years back I was helping my director-friend Jacki Phipps with a video project she was working on for a Jon Hamm/Mad Men skit for SNL. I was excited because:
A. I'm a huge Mad Men fan.
B. I've never really worked on television before (aside from advertising which doesn't count).
So we spent a few days scouting locations for the shoot and I was doing PA grunt work (lots of phone calls, emailing, site visits, etc). At the end of the project the video was shot at the Knoll warehouse and was considered a success (it really was funny). And Jacki described me as a 'hustler', which I've never heard used before in a non-pejorative sense.
Now that I see 'Hustler' visually, in contrast to 'Charlatan' and 'Martyr', it's a true complement. Thanks Jacki!

I hate thinking I live in the most stressed out part of the United States but there you have it. At least according to this study.
I like my iPad a lot but have yet to really see the love. The bulk of the apps in the iTunes store are, well, pure shit. Made by those folks trying to make a quick buck without a clear idea of what they're dealing with. The most interesting apps I've downloaded have been WSJ, Pulse and a couple my 7 year old likes a lot. Meanwhile, publishing has been trying to find a way to remain relevant as print goes the way of the T Rex. And then I discovered Flipboard. It's tactile, social, smart and free (for now). And it's compelling me to curate who I follow on Twitter more thoughtfully.

OK, so should I not reenlist with AT&T for another 2 year slog or is this just a rumor?
If you don't get this case study in irony you'd most likely not get 90% of my humor.
If I found this, the last thing I'd do it drink it.
